Glitter And The Fuzzies

Glitter is a translucent hollow hair shaft that catches the light and reflects it. It is present throughout the fur of your cat. It's truly a beautiful and remarkable sight. Who knew cats could be even more magical?

The fuzzies typically show up at around 3-6 weeks of age. They begin to grow guard hairs with white or black tips at the end that give their coat a dull, camouflaged look. This is believed to be carried over from the wild where it is needed to help hide and protect them from potential predators. These guard hairs fall out between 3-5 months of age, leaving them looking stunning once again.
